Manjeerah Dance Academy is a specialised institution dedicated to preserving and teaching Bharatanatyam, a traditional art form deeply rooted in the Natya Shastra. The academy offers structured and rigorous training in both theoretical and practical aspects of classical dance, nurturing discipline, artistic expression, and cultural heritage.
Founded in 2005 in Kolkata by Smt. Amrita Ghosh, Manjeerah began as her dream project to promote classical and creative dance education. In 2023, Manjeerah was re-established in Pune, continuing its legacy under her special guidance.
The academy provides certification and performance opportunities, including Arangetram, under recognized institutions such as Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and Suro Bharati Sangeet Kala Kendra.
Following the Guru–Shishya Parampara (teacher–disciple tradition), the academy fosters a deep personal connection between mentor and students, guiding them from foundational steps to artistic maturity.
